It was great getting to know a little more about you from the blog feature and now Im a follower :)
I too live with my husband and our giant furry kid (a 100lb newfoundland/lab mix) and have been quilting for a little under a year. I am super impressed with your applique and free motion quilting attempts... Im still avoiding that part as much as possible - might stop being a wuss one day and just go for it ;-)
Congrats! Jealous of your Accuquilt Go! But that's very cool that your husband picked up on those little hints. :) My husband bought me a really nice, cordless iron that I love for quilting, and it wasn't even something I had on my radar. Very cool!
I left you a message over there! Congrats on the feature, very fun!
ReplyDeleteI've been, I've read, I'm back, I'm impressed ;-)

Great write up! And it made me smile you have labs, I live with a 120 lb black lab and a 75 lb yellow lab :)

ReplyDeleteYou've accomplished a lot over the past year Jessica! I love your little birdie pillow!
ReplyDeleteJessica - Congrats at the feature over at Gen X Quilters. I can't believe you've only been quilting for a year, you do great work.
